Infinite Window

“Generation and delivery of content via remote rendering and data streaming” - Patent US20220150553A1

This new codec allowed for a hi-fidelity, raytraced experience to be delivered as an interactive experience with almost no latency one single click away from feed. It didn’t require the use of any separate apps or downloading of any plug-ins. Further, we created the ability for advertisers to capture signal thereby allowing for sophisticated retargeting, and added intelligence to down-funnel engagement like conversational messaging experiences and more.

The Virtual Queue

“Social Queue” - Patent US9396503B2

This system and technology created a framework wherein users could be rewarded for various actions based that took place within the app and/or on social platforms. The actions, rewards and social dynamics could all be adjusted to make the experience relevant to the brand and their specific activation. This technology was used most recently by brands like Samsung for their new hardware launch for a virtual queue.

Providing incentives to a user of a social networking system based on an action of the user ” - Patent US20140278871A1

This technology allowed for a platform and system wherein users could be rewarded for their affiliation and deployment of product recommendations out to their social graph. Use cases included building a fashion collection to curate and deliver out to your network, building out product reviews and more.

Systems methods, and apparatus for event planning” - Patent US20170178251A1

This technology allowed for collaborative creation of shared moments with a date in mind for their deployment on social media or socially connected apps. Use cases included things such as co-creating a surprise party for a friend ahead of the date and then dropping personalized content, or collaborating ahead of time on a co-trip and more

Gamified Content Unlock

“Modifying presentation of content items on a page of content maintained by an online system in response to user interactions with content via a third party system - Patent US11086488B1

This enables a brand or partner to develop an experience where their social channels/ content is altered or dropped based on engagement within other apps, campaigns or experiences. Use cases could include dropping new content based on milestones, new products dropped based on feedback, and more

Switchboard

This technology enables the use of messaging platforms for creation of on-demand connection platforms to make members of the community a resource to one another. Use cases could include motivation, recommendation, gaming, or more from the audience. We built a back and front end to enable easy build and also to control for levels of integrity and anonymity that the executions merited. This included use as an AA buddy, new product recos, covid support systems, NYE resolution motivation and more.

Social Giving

“Feedback for Financial Contributions” - Patent US20140258157A1

This new technology made it possible for businesses and partners to deploy experiences that seamlessly tapped in the social and open graph in order to allow people to give micro-amounts based on set actions taken and to get feedback and returns on that giving - which could come in the form of content, or other unlocks. This has been used by multiple brands within CSR work.

Gamified Shopping / Giving

Systems, methods, and apparatus for collaborative exchange ” - Patent US20170178076A1

This technology enabled a gamified approach to giving moments to enable greater social engagement and enable shopping moments for brands and partners. Use cases included things like white elephant exchanges, secret Santas, birthday gifting, and more.

AR/AI Video Studio

“Dynamic digital content delivery using artificial intelligence (ai) techniques ” - Patent US20220377424A1

This technology allows for the easy creation of digital content without the use of code or knowledge of creation tools in a consistent and dynamic manner. Use cases included brand campaigns with multiple creators or user-generated content where a brand can deliver a simple interface that users are familiar with.

Collaborative Posting

“Bundled event memories” - Patent US9779157B2

This technology enabled multiple friends or connections to develop shared stories and posts through tagging and combining across their media, posts, and more. This patent has been cited by multiple companies but notably Snap in several of their filings.

Social Prints

“Creating social prints from photographs maintained by a social networking system - Patent US20140218759A1

This technology unlocked the ability to add social context to prints. This could include comments, likes, tags, locations and more in order to make the photos more social, and shared. Most notably this was integrated into Walgreen’s photo printing business as “PrintWorthy” allowing for the addition of different ways to print your digital photos in store attaching Facebook context to them

Sideflix

Provisioning content across multiple devices” - Patent WO2019135792A1

“Multivision display” Patent EP3509024A1

The sideflix technology allowed for an easy way for multiple connected users to tether devices and have a connected “better together” experience. We piloted ourselves and enabled several other partners to experiment with use cases ranging from new fashion commerce experiences, to gamified sales promotions, to in-store second screen experiences, co-shopping, waiting in queue entertainment, and more


Social Shopping / Saving

“Product customization recommendations based on user information from a social networking system” - Patent US20140222547A1

This technology allows for a shopping application or web experience to be customized, personalized, or rewarded based on information from your social graph and friends’ shopping. This would allow for that context to help in making trusted decisions and engaging in gamified social shopping. This was leveraged most notably by Target Cartwheel and informed quite a few other experiences.

This technology enabled advertisers to more effectively deliver the right content to the right user at the right time by establishing various triggers and milestones. Partners could then either deliver content based upon user events or use these to inform their development and ultimate distribution. This was the backbone of the Kleenex Someone Needs One work.

This technology enabled brands and partners to build socially connected competition engines in order to invite friends in, set stakes, and social rewards or punishments. Use cases included everyday gaming, online gaming, fantasy sports competitions and more.


Collaborative Publishing

Collaborative publishing within a social network ” - Patent US9779157B2

This invention created the ability for brands and partners to authorize multiple other partners, creators, sponsored entities and more to collaboratively publish on a set schedule or against certain themes. At the time before products allowed at scale, this would enable a brand to enable branded content across multiple pages or to develop a joint publishing strategy with other partner accounts

Persona designer allows brands to easily build their own voice/persona for any platform including web or messaging (WhatsApp, Messenger, IG Direct, etc). Using a simple interface it walks a client through choosing the right archetypes, and a prompt engineering exercise to tailor it. It was trained with brand safe datasets in order to ensure integrity and safety. It has been used by multiple brands including Hyundai to date
